from the Photo Lab

On Saturday, April 14th we will have the pleasure of attending and photographing For The Love of Animals, the 6th annual fundraiser benefiting the Marin Humane Society.

This evening is set to be a spectacular event featuring great music, food, wine, silent and live auctions and of course, adoptable animals.

I (Nat) have been a volunteer at Marin Humane for close to three years now, walking, hiking and spending time with shelter dogs and could not be more thrilled to be able to have Photo Lab sponsor this event in-kind. We will be there covering the event and because we do what we do for the love of animals, we have donated a Photo Lab Fine Art Photography Package to the silent auction. The winner will receive:

  • a photo session consultation
  • a fun-filled photographic session for the winner’s beloved companion
  • a web gallery and proof-book with photos
  • 8×10 custom prints | (1) 11×14 canvas
  • a personal ordering session and 10% off additional custom product orders

We hope to see you there! If you see us walking around with cameras and a few lights, come say hi!

Highlights of the evening will include:

  • It’s Fashionable to Adopt runway show featuring adoption animals
accompanied by models outfitted by Famous4 Clothing in Mill Valley
  • Music performances by Stage Dor Dance Studio
  • Puppy kissing booth
  • Exciting live and silent auctions
  • Hors d’oeuvres, fine wine & vodka martini bars
Some of the live auction items (among many others) featured are:

lunch or dinner at MoMo’s restaurant paired with a bottle of Barbed Oak Wine
  • An Evening with Tyler Florence (um… swoon!)
private event for 20 people in his Mill Valley shop
    mingle with Tyler (again… swoon!)
    hors d’ ouevres and wine
  • Catered dinner by Chef Carlo Cavallo from Meritage Restaurant

So if you don’t have plans for Saturday night, throw on your cocktail attire and come have a glass in celebration of our beloved animal companions and in support of the people who work tirelessly on their behalf. See you there!
