How can animal rescue, the Bay Area’s best restaurants and art non profits come together? This was the dream of Susan and Teri of Creative Rescue when they came to us to design a unique recipe book that could stand on its own like a desk calendar and showcased artwork on one side and a recipe on the other. They gathered recipes donated by some of the best restaurants in San Francisco’s Mission district and Oakland and compiled dozens of art pieces created by artists with developmental disabilities. The end result is a bouquet of art, food and giving back to the community; and we could not be happier to have been a part of it. All proceeds from each book benefit Creative Rescue for animal rescue organizations and Creative Growth/Creativity Explored artists.
